Free Fishing Day in NH is June 4th

Just like it was in January, Free Fishing Day is back in New Hampshire! Every year in Jackson, thousands of people take advantage of the Free Fishing Day. This year, it takes place on the first Saturday in June, which is June 4. On Free Fishing Day, you can fish anywhere in New Hampshire, whether it is freshwater or saltwater. You don’t even need a fishing license! Both residents of New Hampshire and other states are allowed to participate in Free Fishing Day without penalty.

About Free Fishing Day

Free Fishing Day happens twice a year in New Hampshire. The first time is on the third Saturday in January, the weekend of the 15th. And the second time is on the first Saturday in June, the weekend of the 4th. Anglers of all skill levels can take advantage of Free Fishing Day in New Hampshire to discover, or rediscover, what makes fishing in New Hampshire so special. It’s a great way to get your family out of the house and into the state’s great outdoors!
