Tips for a great weekend

The kids will enjoy the indoor pool, specialty children’s menu at the restaurant and a nightly movie showing at 5:30 pm. We recommend that you book your table before or after your train journey so you do not have to be concerned with wait times and hangry children. The earlier train allows for dinner afterward, the later train should be preceded by dinner.

Other amenities include a hot tub and fitness center for your enjoyment, as well as our beautiful full-service AVEDA Spa.

Mrs. Claus loves to see the kids dressed up, so it is fun to make the Barn dinner a special experience. Gifts from Mrs. Claus are tightly wrapped for kids to open back in their rooms, that way the gift remains a surprise for all.

If you are dressing in PJs for your train journey, do layer up and bring mittens and hats – it can be cold.

Lastly, we highly recommend buying travel insurance for this journey and any others you may be planning this year. It is best to be prepared for life’s little curveballs. Here are a few insurance companies for your consideration:

“We attended the Journey to the North Pole in the past through a different property. The Christmas Farm Inn went above our expectations to make the weekend a magical memory that the whole family will share for years to come.”

“We stayed there in December for the Journey to the North Pole event. From the moment we got there it was magical. When we got to our room there waiting for my daughter was the ‘Polar Express’ bell and invitation. My daughter was truly excited!… We had dinner that night in the barn with Mrs. Claus. It exceeded our expectations!”

“That night we did the Polar Express event. It was awesome. We came back to the Inn sat around the fireplace with a glass of wine and just relaxed…”

“The magic begins with its truly hospitable Innkeepers. A real fifteen foot Christmas tree… Soon Mrs. Claus would arrive to read a story to the girls and boys and deliver a special gift! Our children are begging us to return for the same wonderment next year at the Christmas Farm Inn. How can we refuse? Cheers!”

History of Christmas Farm Inn Name

The Inn is not 'Christmas themed' but rather received its name from the gifting of the property at Christmas time – renamed the ‘Christmas Farm’ in honor of the season and spirit of the gift.
