This truly unique adventure departs each November and December from two locations in the White Mountains of northern New Hampshire, featuring a wonderful evening train ride, a bunch of elves, and Santa himself!

Train times, so you can plan your day:
Boarding time of 3:45 pm, train departs at 4:15 pm and returns to the station at approx. 6:15 pm
Boarding time of 6:30 pm, train departs at 7 pm and returns to the station at approx. 9 pm

Tips for a great weekend
The kids will enjoy the indoor pool, specialty children’s menu at the restaurant and a nightly movie showing at 5:30 pm. We recommend that you book your table before or after your train journey so you do not have to be concerned with wait times and hangry children. The earlier train allows for dinner afterward, the later train should be preceded by dinner.
Other amenities include a hot tub and fitness center for your enjoyment, as well as our beautiful full-service AVEDA Spa.
Mrs. Claus loves to see the kids dressed up, so it is fun to make the Barn dinner a special experience. Gifts from Mrs. Claus are tightly wrapped for kids to open back in their rooms, that way the gift remains a surprise for all.
If you are dressing in PJs for your train journey, do layer up and bring mittens and hats – it can be cold.

Santa’s Village
On select weekends throughout the Christmas season, Santa’s Village is open to give kids an extra dose of Christmas magic. Santa’s Village features special shows and rides.
Cranmore Snowtubing
Unlike some forms of winter recreation that require tutorials or special equipment, snow-tubing is simple fun for the whole family. Take a visit to Cranmore to take a snow tube ride that’s dun for the whole family.
Nestlenook horse-drawn sleigh rides
Jackson is home to Nestlenook Estate where you can enjoy private or group sleigh rides by horse carriage or sleigh, depending on snow. All through the Christmas season the Jackson chamber also operates The Jingle Bell Chocolate Tour when sleighs with jingle bells ride through Jackson Village to sample hand-made chocolate treats by local shops and inns on the village loop. Must book in advance!

Living Shores Aquarium
The Living Shore Aquarium is the latest addition to Story Land and open year-round. The aquarium features 32,000 sq. ft. of interactive experience, including tide pools, exhibits, and immersive activities.
History of Christmas Farm Inn Name
The Inn is not 'Christmas themed' but rather received its name from the gifting of the property at Christmas time – renamed the ‘Christmas Farm’ in honor of the season and spirit of the gift.
