Maple Syrup March
March gives rise to maple fever – the formal start of Maple Syrup (aka Liquid Gold) season. Enjoy a free tour of the Black Mountain Sugar House and see how maple syrup is made, some of it from sap from our own estate! The New Hampshire Maple Producers Association has announced that Maple Sugaring Month runs from March 10 through April 1. The Black Mountain Sugarhouse will be boiling and have syrup to sell as long as the sap is running. They invite the public to stop by any weekend if steam is rising from the smokehouse, but particularly during the 23rd Annual NH Maple Weekend: Saturday, March 24 between 11am-4pm or Sunday, March 25 between 10am-3pm.
Our restaurant is serving a maple-inspired 3-course special menu, enjoy! Of course, our other daily specials and a la carte offerings are still available.
